Their Semen is evaluated by Select Breeders Service and tested in available extenders for best breeding results for both Fresh and Frozen Semen. 	STALLION COLLECTION TEAM/University of Massachusetts, Amherst Dr.C.Gradil,DVM,PHD,Theriogenlogist is in charge of the Equine Reproduction program at UMASS. He and his team provide top collection/processing/shipping services for WERBELLIN, DONARWEISS, & CADBURY, the Greengate Farm Stallions. The team also runs an assisted reproduction clinic for A.I by fresh & frozen, and Embryo Transfer Services. 	Lovingly Handled from Birth Foals are lovingly handled from the time we birth them, to when they leave our home. A daily program with their mares and through weaning is geared to introduce the experiences they will need to make them confident and trusting in human hands for future training and riding experiences. We start young, with their dam's help, to make a winning situation for all. The inspections and USDF Breeders Series shows are just a part of getting them acclimated to the "human world" they will need to survive in as mature horses. 11/08/2004
	Peace, Quiet, and Nature......as God Intended it Optimum opportunity "to be a horse" is afforded the mares, foals, and youngsters in this idyllic area. New Braintree is an agricultural community that does not allow industry. The township is 2/3 Conservation land. 	Greengate Farm: Modern Facilites, full Lab Facility The residence facility houses 12stalls and 3-15 x 24, Mare/Foal Shed Paddocks, 3-15x24-Shed Fields. Horse stalls are 12 X12, fully matted with individual, 4-board oak fenced sand paddocks off each stall. .Mare & foal stalls are 15X20, each with Kay-glo infa-red heaters, video & sound monitors, fully-matted and some have individual paddocks that open to grass paddock turnout. In addition to the video monitoring, body monitors are also used for expectant mothers when foaling is imminent. The mare lab at the facility includes all equipment needed to properly prepare for & Inseminate at correct temperatures and optimum sanitary procedures. The best containers are use for shipping and storage of both fresh and frozen semen. Stallions can be collected at Greengate or local veterinary centers nearby to where they are ridden. 07/25/2004 01/09/2007
	Greengate Farm is an effort of Family & Friends At Greengate Farm we strive to offer the youngsters the best supportive environment possible for growing. Daily care is in the hands of responsible adults and the mares/foals and youngsters are given a clean stable environment with ample turnout in green fields. Correct nutrition to provide the base for good muscle, bone, and energy is a top consideration. Forage is analyzed and rations balanced for the growing warmblood. Mares are fed optimum rations with balancers scientifically formulated to prevent issues that start with the unborn foal. The worming program includes Strongid 2X daily wormer, and paste worming, Farrier work is on a regular schedule . In short, a host of professionals, Family, & friends strive to produce QUALITY.....NOT QUANTITY....at Greengate Farm. We offer a small number of boarding situations for owners who are as concerned with the rearing & development of their youngsters as we are, in every way. 08/15/2004
	Feeding Programs The feeding program utilizes a special rations formulated by Kentucky Equine Research for Poulin Grain. MVP(minerals/vitamins/protein) supplement is used to balance the diet and pass vital nutrients to the fetus through the mare, enabling optimum levels of nutrients in the fetus liver that allow healthy development of tissues and bones. Optimum nutrition in the mare is proven to decrease the incidence/expression of OCD in youngstock. Younstock is also fed a balanced foal feed with MVP supplementation. 	Training Riding and training for in-hand is accommodated in a 100 X 200 fully-fenced sand/clay outdoor ring. There is a full track for riding, driving and warm-up around this ring. In addition the facility sits within a system of gravel roads, wooded trails, and crop fields with driving roads throughout. There is ample opportunity to enjoy this quiet and peaceful country experience. 07/25/2004
