Werbellin…pronounced
Werbellin…is a 16’3" hand Hanoverian Stallion from the German State
Stud at Celle. He is the only class #1 son of the great Weltmeyer, 1988 German
Hanoverian Horse of the Year, standing in the U.S.A. "From the time he was
2 ˝ yrs old he was described as a horse of many talents in movement and
jumping." (96’ Celle Korung Catalogue).
The German Hanoverian Stallion book describes Werbellin as " Big framed Weltmeyer-son with a strong, correct conformation, distinctive riding horse points, a good shoulder and well sloped croup. Due to above average scores in all disciplines he has to be regarded as a versatile and talented riding horse of best quality, who is bred out of well proven performance bloodlines." |
Werbellin Proven competitor. Werbellin was chosen by the Celle from the licensing and then went on to complete his 11month performance test finishing 4th out of 41 young stallions. He finished with a 126.21pts in Rideability or Dressage and 119.49 pts in Jumping, for an average 122.95 pts overall. Werbellin in the US has continued his success. Under rider Christopher Hickey, Werbellin has wins, high point awards and championships at 3rd level dressage and is now winning at 4th level for 2003. Werbellin is of exceptional character and temperament, scoring 8’s & 9’s in these fields. Combined with 3 good gaits,(8,8,9) these traits make him a pleasure to work with and highly trainable. |
