Werbellin's Pedigree

Werbellin’s sire is WeltmeyerWeltmeyer is sired by World Cup I,  who was winner of the stallion approval for the stallions that were reared at Hunnesruck, winner of his stallion performance test, twofold vice-champion DLG stallion and was proclaimed "Hanoverian Stallion" of the year in 1997. His dam, SPS Anka is a full sister of the sire Abgott (Dillenburg state stallion) and Amazonas (private stallion Rhineland) Mated with Grande, produced the advanced dressage horse Giaccomo 32. The grandam Adelsbuch is a ½ sister of Sheila (by ShogunXX), who is represented at the Celle state stud by her sons Wanderbursch 1 & 11. This line also produced state stallion Arianer.

Weltmeyer Performance: After winning the 1986 stallion approval in Verden, Weltmeyer became the best 3-yr old German riding horse in Vechta in 1987 and won the stallion performance test in Adleheidsdorf with good results in all disciplines. He won the CHI conformation show class for approved stallions, in Hanover in 1988 and 1989 was DLG exhibition champion in Frankfurt. Weltmeyer has been promoted to advanced (S) level Dressage.


Werbellin's mother, St.PR.St. Lady Laurin is enrolled in the German Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program. Her MPT was overall 7.61 with freejumping of 9. The Grand-Dam had 3 daughters whose average scores in the free jumping were 8,9, & 9.5. Horses from the same motherline have many stallions’ offspring including Sao Paulo v.Sandro & Askan v.Archimedes. And successful Sporthorses such as Olympic Askan v. Almhugel 111 and highly decorated DLG champion Weltdame v.Werther, and European Champion Wertvolle v.Weltmeyer. Both the Dam sires Legat and Grand-Sire Lanthan stand for the State Stud at Celle.

Weltmeyer Breeding Record: Weltmeyer began a sheer incomparable career as a sire from the outset. He has more than 60 approved sons and around 190 State premium Mares to boast. His stallion sons Williams Gold, Wittinger, and Wolkentanz won at the Verdan Approval, whereas Wonderful, Wolkenstein II, White Star and Welt Hit 11 each became approval vice champions respectively. In addition to this, Wittinger, Weltburger, Wolkenstein II, Wolkentanz, White Star, Welt Hit and Wildrose were victorious at the Federal Riding Horse Championships, whereas his sons Wittinger, Wolkenstein11, Weltburger, Wie Weltmeyer, White Star, White Magic, and Welt Hit! Were stallion performance test winners. On top of that, there are a number of top quality auction horses such as Weltspitze who fetched a price of DM 590,000 in Vechta in the spring of 1997. For years now Weltmeyer has been leading in the FN breeding value rating for dressage. His progeny are nevertheless also above average in show jumping.
