Werbellin; A Proven competitor.

Werbellin was chosen by the Celle from the licensing and then went on to complete his 11month performance test finishing 4th out of 41 young stallions.

He finished with a 126.21pts in Rideability or Dressage and 119.49 pts in Jumping, for an average 122.95 pts overall. Werbellin is of exceptional character and temperament, scoring 8’s & 9’s in these fields. Combined with 3 good gaits (8,8,9), these traits make him a pleasure to work with and highly trainable.

Werbellin training director Jochim Winter .

Adelheidsdorf's training director Jochim Winter chose Werbellin to participate in the new Hanoverian performance  program for the stallions of the Celle. Particiapting in open young horse classes for material "prufung" and jumping in Germany,

Werbellin was successfully shown in both 1998 & 1999 in Material Prufung and Young Jumper Classes at A & L level winning 19 classes out of 33 classes and placed in the top 4 of all.!

We imported Werbellin from the German State Stud to stand the 2000 Season for the U.S.A. Since that time he has been busy attending warmblood registry approvals and gaining certifications for 5 additional registries.  In 2001 he competed In-hand at BFK Sporthorse and was 3rd in the Hanoverian IBC and 1st in the Mature Stallions at Stud. At. NEDA Breed Show he was 3rd in the Mature Stallions at Stud and he won the Get of Sire class out of 7 Stallion entries. Werona, his 2001 filly won the NE Sporthorse Breeders Futurity, Reserve Champion Filly and Devon qualifier.

Werbellin was invited to attend the Equine Affaire Horse Exposition where he entertained the crowd in the FANTASIA evening performances  representing both the American Hanoverian Society and the American Warmblood Society with a Flag Carrying performance.

In December of 2001 Werbellin joined Christopher Hickey in Wellington, Florida for the winter show season. There he has already participated in private training with Chris and Conrad Schumacher.

Of Werbellin Conrad said, " nice type, good conformation, the right type for dressage", and of his work and addressing a large crowd, " very good, what more do you want from a young stallion?"

Werbellin was selected to partake in the Lisa Wilcox and Ernst Hoyos clinic as a demonstration horse for training of advanced FEI movements.  Both Lisa and Ernst gave wonderful comments of  Werbellin's excellent mind and workmanship in the clinic and have invited him back to attend the USDF Symposium in 2003 for a repeat performance.

In 2003 Chris and Werbellin continue there training with international trainers in preparation for FEI competitions. They are Competing at 4th level, working Prix St Geroge and training FEI movements.
