Balou du Rouet filly - all color!
Hi Judy,
Here are a few pics of my Balou filly.....

Favre had a beautiful chestnut filly with lots of white on April 23rd. She is by the jumper stallion Balou du Rouet and so will be in the Hano jumper program. We chose Balou because of his jumping but also because all of his gaits scored above an 8 in his stallion testing. His jumping scores were 9's and 10's. With all her white, we have christened this filly with the name Bling. Whether her registered name will be Balou de la Bling or BadaBling, I'm not sure. :-) I have no idea when I'll get to updating my website but here are the pictures. :-)

Here she is at 3 days:

ROMANOV filly - CHARMING!
On May 22, Contessa (Cantendro / Eiger / Wenzel) delivered a
golden, long-legged, delicate filly by Blue Hors Romanov. We have
named her /Royal Essence. /She really has it all in the movement
department - great engine, effortless elastic canter, and today I
saw her trot. Pretty special! Pictured at just one day old.

Hello Judy.

I just wanted to send a couple of photos of my Fidertanz x Lady's King colt. He is about a week old in these pictures. They certainly do not do him justice. He is spectacular!! He moves like a dream and has a great personality! (Not to mention bay with 4 white socks). I really couldn't have asked for anything better. Sincerely,

Beautiful Lord Sinclair filly!
Nancy Holowesko sent me this photo of a wonderful looking Lord Sinclair filly our of her Harvard mare.

Hi Judy,

A better picture for your foals page. Bijoux is very curious and
confident and oh so sweet. She has three very good gaits and just the
prettiest head and eye. Lord Sinclair certainly stamped this one.

Classy FIDERTANZ filly born for Kathleen Richardson!
Thank you, Kathleen, for sending in a photo! We all enjoy it.

Hi Judy
Attached, picture of my Fidertanz filly from SPS Ditana (Don Bosco / Prince Orac xx), at 1 week old.
What a honey! I'm calling her "Free To Be".
She is very refined, tall, and correct - and a real "girl" in terms of type. She has inherited excellent movement, with lots of animation in
the trot, an uphill canter, and good walk - so I'm very pleased. 2 more "frozen semen babies" to come, and I'll send pictures when they arrive.
Best regards,

FAREWELL III colt!
Just LOOK at this precious colt by Farewell III - at three days of age. Another uphill model stamped by Farewell III. The mare I had chosen to breed to Farewell III ended up having quite some problems in the last month of her pregnancy. It doesn't look like I will be able to breed her this year, and I am so bummed. I was so looking forward to this particular cross.
I envy breeders their Farewell III foals.

ROMANOV colt!
Chris and Corey Miller, neighbors here in Florida, have named this handsome ROMANOV son, "ROMEO". He IS a real sweetheart. Tall and leggy, and full of personality - like his sire. Well, here is another example of prepotency! This is a precious filly by RICCIONE out of a TB mare. "RICCIANA" is owned by Katie Freeman, a neighbor here in Florida. She is new to warmblood breeding and let me shoose the stallion for the maree. I'd say she was a very lucky lady, no? What a beauty.

Not to foget my Kigers!
This is Cherokee Inca Princess at 3 weeks. They are SO funny... born with three inch deep fur, ready for those high desert early Springs I guess! She is a little fuzzy doll with a huge personality. I love them all!

Here is Qredit at 6 days
Qredit is our first homebred Quaterback colt He is out of Dream Rubina, also a homebred .... She is by Dream of Glory out of Reina H by Rubinstein. So, Qredit is royally bred to be an outstanding mover with excellent temperament. He is already showing us all of this and more. I don't think I have ever bred a foal with this movement like his sire has - so effortless and fluid.

OH MY !!!Look at Martha Haley's FILLY!!!!!
This is a great looking BALOU DU ROUET filly out of Winnie (aka. Never Say Never).
Congrats to Martha!

Hi Judy,

I have attached a picture taken at 4 days of age. This filly was pre-sold in-utero.

Balou du Rouet is certainly stamping his get with suppleness, athleticism, and very beautiful type. This filly is a stunning creature.
She is full of energy, very athletic and balanced, superbly muscled with a strong topline, and exquisitely marked. Her movement is more than sufficient in all three gaits with plenty of power. I am more than pleased with this cross and will certainly want to repeat this cross in the future. Thanks so much for providing so many excellent stallion choices for breeders in North America!

I see on your website that you have 1 dose of Balou du Rouet left. I would like to purchase it. If you are planning on bringing in any more this season, I would take a second dose.

Please let me know about the semen.

Thanks again,
Martha

And a Sir Donnerhall COLT for Dr. Elaine Burkhart
Dear Judy,

Here is a photo of my long awaited Sir Donnerhall colt (3 days old in
photo) out of my mare Walkure (Weltmeyer/Cabaret). I am so happy with
him. I named him "Seurat" after the impressionist artist -he does make
quite an impression. Thank you for all your assistance and your excellent frozen semen protocol. This was my first attempt at doing
the insemination myself and it went very well (or I was very lucky!).

Many thanks!!

Look at this special FIDERTANZ colt !
Owner,Sue Thompson writes this:
Good Morning Judy,

Thought you would like to see my mare Wild
Honey's (Espri/Woermann/Donnerhall)first foal, a
beautiful Fidertanz colt. You arranged our
Fidertanz semen for us and we had success on our
first try. I couldn't be happier with this
little guy, pictured at two weeks in the photo.
What movement, very bouncy and light! I am new
at this so my eye isn't what it should be but
from what I can tell, he is very special. He has loads of personality and is full of mischief.
Mom is wonderful, totally unconcerned and
enjoying life with her babe. His destiny is
dressage of course and will eventually be under
the guidance of Ursula Hosking for his
development. Ursula is Kathleen Richardson's
daughter who I believe you may know and is a
wonderful trainer/coach in our area, great with
youngsters.

Rosario (!) filly out of Trakehner mare, Mimosa
Michele Martin of California got quite a surprise from the GOV office when she was told that her filly was NOT by Don Romantic! That was the semen that we had shipped to her Vet's, but somehow the mare was instead bred with Rosario. (Thank goodness it was HIM, if there had to be a mistake!) SO, now she has a lovely ROSARIO filly, and no one knows where the Don Romantic semen went!

Thanks for recommending him!

Hotline filly in Canada
Owner Kathleen Richardson is proud! She writes:
Hi,
She has a fabulous, extremely easy and powerful canter, a light rhythmic
trot, and easy long walk. And she is extremely engaging, curious and cuddly - no hesitation.
Her mom is SPS Ditana, by Don Bosco / SPS Prix d'Amerique (a Prince Orac xx daughter). I think the heavy TB infusion gives extra elegance and beauty to this filly. Ditana was an "8" at her inspection, and also scored 8 in rideability - so, this filly is well-equipped, with Hotline as dad, to be a talented riding horse.

Santino - Stedinger colt GOV Premium 05
Eowyn Brewer of Serendipity Sporthorses sent us this:
My Stedinger colt Santino out of Chloe by Corrado USA went premium with the
GOV this last week. Although he is her first foal and has a bit of the
underdeveloped first foal look they saw his quality and movement to be good
enough for the premium award. I am very excited! He looks like he will be
a tall and elegant guy.

San Miguel by Sandro Hit
and out of a Brentano II dam. Owner/breeder is Turtlehollow Farms: Claudia writes-
Hi Judy,

I hope I am not a proud but pesty breeder! I just had to share these pictures. I just love this colt. He is not only wonderful to watch and look at, his temperament is wonderful. We could not ask for more, but got more...Nettie is in foal to Sandro Hit again, and had an excellent 30 day ultrasound today. We are so thrilled, and feel so thankful and fortunate!
Thanks again for all your guidance and help.
I hope you like the pictures,
Claudia

Lady Claire by Lord Sinclair
Owner/breeder, Jodi David sent this:
Hi Judy
Attached is the promised picture of our beautiful Lord Sinclair Filly 'Lady Claire' shown at 7 weeks.
She is a real power house- incredible canter, very uphill trot with lots of 'push' and a really good walk. We have bred our other mare (the full sister to this one's mom) to Lord Sinclair for next year using our last dose. We hope to confirm in a few weeks. You mentioned that our filly might be the only Lord Sinclair born in the USA this year!
all the best
Jodi

Kudos to the foresighted breeders, Karin and Carlos Jimenez of Sporting Chance Farms in Pa. They bred their mare Joli, by Wanroij with Balou du Rouet last year and produced this big moving, elastic and athletic filly.
