ABOUT
Successful International Dressage Breeders of FEI Competitors
We have been breeding top quality Hanoverians for 27 years. We stand the International FEI Grand Prix stallion, Don Principe (Donnerhall/Prince Thatch xx), his son, David Bowie MF (Don Principe/EM Rotina/Rotspon) and grandson , Debonair MF (Doctor Wendell MF/EM Rising Star MF/Rotspon). Marydell Farm has been awarded the Champion Breeder title from both USEF and USDF and Don Principe has won the coveted title of Champion Dressage Breeding Sire from USEF twice.
Our breeding goal has always been to produce Grand Prix horses for dressage but we also have offspring winning titles in hunters and eventing. We utilize only performance mares with either a show record or MPT with good xrays for our program. Our program has produced five “Traveling Trot” perpetual trophy winners. This USDF perpetual is given to the highest scoring in hand horse in the country considering all ages, breeds and both genders. What we are most proud of is that the trophy was won by five different horses from our breeding program proving the consistancy of quality that we strive to breed for. Marydell Farm is al so proud of the fact that we had had many Dressage at Devon Champions as well as two Grand Champions- Dansuse MF (Don Principe/EM Fuerst Dancer MF/Fuerst Heinrich) and Danae MF (Doctor Wendell MF/ EM Rising Star MF/Rotspon)
The performance accolades include but are not all listed here: Don Principe won silver on a 2017 Nation Cup Team, was the 2017 Brentina Cup Champion. He also has many regional and CDI wins to his credit. Doctor Wendell MF was the USDF National PSG Champion at age 7 and sold in Europe for over a million euro. Many Regional dressage winners including but not limited to EM Duet MF. EM Dansuse MF, EM Dinah Shore MF, Doctor Wendell MF. Eventing winners include DeLuce’ MF (Don Principe/Londonderry) and Reba MF (Rotspon/Weltstern). Hunters include zone and national champions Motown, Dresden’s Holiday and Fig Street Duchess.
We strive to produce a great work ethic in an athletic and sound horse. There are always young prospects for sale from foals to seven or eight yr olds.
